Glossary

Plain language for the booking terms hadef uses.

If a term shows up in the product or the marketing and it's not immediately clear what we mean, it's in here. Short definitions. No jargon. No circular references.

Core terms

Show Brain
The persistent memory of your show. Voice notes, past guests, audience profile, tone rules, pitching intelligence. Every pitch draft is informed by it.
Golden Thread
The overlap between something a guest has said, something your audience cares about, and the unexplored question that sits at the intersection. The reason the pitch works.
Hook Quote
A verbatim line from a real public source, spoken by the guest, used as the opening of the pitch. Must pass QA Check 1 (accuracy) and Check 4 (ownership).
Concept
The episode premise. Not a topic. A premise includes the hook quote, the unexplored thread, the Piar lens, and the rationale for why this conversation with this guest at this moment is the one to have.
QA Pass
A pitch that cleared all five QA checks. Quote accuracy, URL liveness, specificity, quote ownership, confidence score. The bar for auto-greenlit pitches.
Pipeline
The eight stages a prospect moves through. Discover, Following, Drafting, QA, Sent, Replies, Booked, Declined. Visible as the funnel view inside the app.
Following
The watch list of prospects you haven't pitched yet or pitched and are waiting on. New public signals from these people trigger automatic re-engagement drafts.
Warmup
The light-touch engagement sequence that precedes a cold pitch. Like a post, comment on an article, reference in a newsletter. Builds familiarity before the ask.
Workflow
A configurable send sequence. Default is seven nodes: Day 1 like → Day 3 connect → Day 4 DM → Day 6 branch → Day 8 email → Day 10 disengage → Day 12+ follow.
Signal
A new public event involving a prospect you're following. A podcast appearance, an article, a LinkedIn post. Triggers re-engagement logic inside the workflow builder.
Pitch Package
The published, shareable presentation of a pitch. Lives at pitch.hadef.io/[token]. Replaces Google Drive links and PDF attachments.
Transcript Coverage
A quality label on the research output. STRONG (2+ valid transcripts), WEAK (1 valid or mixed), NONE (zero). Feeds into concept confidence scoring.
