Pitch teardowns

Real pitches. What worked. Why.

A pitch teardown is a pitch shown in full, alongside the reply it earned or the silence it got, and a short analysis of why. Some teardowns are ours. Some are from the wider industry. All are published with the host's permission.

Why teardowns matter

The gap between a pitch that works and one that doesn't is usually invisible from the outside. Both have a hook. Both name a guest. Both ask for time. The difference lives in what they picked for the hook, how they named the guest, and how they framed the ask. Teardowns show it line by line.

We're collecting teardowns now. First ten live in Q3 2026. If you've sent a pitch you're proud of and the guest said yes, we'd like to see it.
